Flames trail from his cloak and never fade, no matter the wind.

Count Arnau rides with jaw set, eyes hollow, and a scorched cloak, face streaked with ash.

Demonic Hounds pace beside him, their maws glowing like coals.

Those same embers lick the stones of a silent chapel where vows once rose.

He took land from the poor and let sworn duties rot.

Gold glittered in his halls while hunger filled the roads outside.

A bell swings once, and the Catalan Hills remember his name.

As the bell hushes, hooves answer from the ridge beyond.
