Astronauts test zero gravity rocket refueling on the ISS

When science experiments go wild in space

Astronaut Matthew Dominick attempts to demonstrate rocket pressurization using an effervescent bottle in space, leading to an unexpected splash that leaves both astronauts laughing hysterically.

Zero-G Rocket Fuel Demo Goes Hilariously Wrong

How rocket settling burns work in zero gravity

Astronaut Matthew Dominick demonstrates the physics behind a settling burn in orbit, showing how a small push forces floating propellant directly to the engine nozzle.

How Rockets Settle Fuel in Zero Gravity

Testing Starship fuel transfer in microgravity

Astronauts assemble a dual-bottle contraption aboard the ISS to test if rotational inertia can transfer propellant between spaceships in orbit.

Spinning Fuel Transfer Test in Microgravity

Artificial gravity fluid transfer test in space

Matthew Dominick spins the connected bottles rapidly to create artificial gravity, visibly moving liquid across the bridge while tracking how the center of mass changes in real time.
