HOTO’s Smart Laser Measure is a compact starting point for ordinary room measurements. Bosch’s GLM165-27C adds a color display and Bluetooth workflow. The newer 150-meter Leica DISTO D2 adds more measurement functions and connected features. A long maximum range alone is rarely the deciding factor when the job is fitting a desk or measuring a room. What to check before buying

Check the measuring reference point, supported units and how readings move into your notes or floor plan. Bosch’s model is rated to 165 feet; the Leica linked here is the newer 150-meter D2, not the older 100-meter version sold under a similar name. If you want app transfer, confirm your phone and the exact model are supported before ordering. Bosch GLM165-27C Leica DISTO D2 (150m)

Recheck critical clearances with a second measurement, especially around trim and skirting boards. Follow the laser safety instructions and do not aim at eyes. Regional Leica listings may differ in price and availability.
