GTA VI’s November 2026 date is official—but the details are limited

Rockstar’s current official GTA VI page lists November 19, 2026 as the release date, and the official material checked does not establish a newer schedule change.^[1][2] The announcement setting that date was published on November 6, 2025, so it is not new news as of September 29, 2026.^[3]

Rockstar said the added time would let the team “finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.” The announcement does not specify which parts of the game need more work, so claims about particular features or development problems go beyond what Rockstar stated.^[4]
