    A hermit crab lived in a shell wrapped by a cloak anemone. Gosse wondered what would happen when the crab needed more room.

    The crab inspected it and dragged it around. After watching for more than an hour, Gosse stepped away.

  3. When he returned, both had moved.

    The old shell was empty. The anemone was on the new one. Gosse saw the result, but missed the move itself.
