It assumes those pack prices stay unchanged, before tax and shipping, with no bulk discount. Failed pictures still consume an exposure. Go film is a third, incompatible format; its current pack price was not verified here.
Camera plus the above film allowance is $177.45 for mini 13, $321.50 for mini EVO, $322.45 for mini 99 and $376.86 for Now Gen 3. These are budgeting examples, not prebuilt bundles. EVO can avoid printing a rejected digital shot, but it does not make a successful print cheaper. Its $144.05 premium over mini 13 equals roughly 165 mini-film exposures at this pack price—so buy it for control, not an automatic savings promise.
Match the format to the moment
Check a real sample print size before buying. The mini format is good for wallets and small albums; Polaroid’s larger i-Type image gives faces and surroundings more space. The tiny Go image is part of its charm and also its constraint. None of these film families can be substituted for another because a listing says “instant film”.
For a party, buy extra film and test the camera beforehand. Consider an album or storage box, but avoid a large accessory bundle until you know what you need. Do not expect phone-camera sharpness or immediate digital review from the analogue models. The EVO is the exception because it captures digitally before printing.
