What to check before buying

A microchip feeder addresses food stealing in a multi-pet home, but it is a different device from a high-capacity timer feeder. Sure Petcare's Connect model identifies an individual pet; PETLIBRO's camera is more useful if you mainly want to see whether a meal was dispensed. Measure kibble size and check what happens during a Wi-Fi or power outage.

Test a new schedule while you are home. Keep the bowl, chute and reservoir clean, and do not rely on an unattended device as the only plan for a pet with medical feeding needs.
