What material are Skerryvore rocks?

The rocks of Skerryvore have the same characteristics as those of the neighbourhood of Tyree, being a syenitic gneiss consisting of quartz, felspar, hornblende, and also mica^[1]. The rock is also intersected by a dyke of basalt^[1].
