Italian grandmothers are thought to be amazing cooks because they have spent a lifetime perfecting their culinary skills and recipes, often passed down through generations. The tradition of handmade pasta making is heavily associated with family and cultural identity, evident in projects like 'Pasta Grannies,' which celebrates grandmothers' expertise and stories of cooking for love rather than for a living. Additionally, grandmothers engage younger generations, often teaching them these invaluable cooking skills to preserve their heritage.
