SPF does not mean time in the sun

Patterns Revealed

SPF 30 does not mean 30 minutes.
It measures UVB protection, not a timer ⏱️
UVA ages, UVB burns.
Broad-spectrum sunscreen aims to cover both rays ☀️
Mineral filters sit on top and mostly absorb plus scatter UV.
Chemical filters absorb UV and turn it into heat 🌞
Quick checklist: broad-spectrum, SPF 30+, enough for your body, apply 15 to 30 minutes before, reapply every 2 hours and after swimming or sweating 🔖
