They Carry the Horizon Home Before Dark

An original editorial reconstruction turns the horizon into painted scenery that must be carried home before night. In front of the canvas, the warm landscape still exists; beyond its torn edge, the world gives way to ropes, rigging and darkness. The scene is invented, not a film still or documented stage practice.
