Create original contemporary fables built around one exact impossible term. The
reader-visible unit is one five-slide carousel, not a standalone image and not a
fragment of a larger mythology. Each story must be fully understandable on first
encounter without lore, cultural backstory, or a caption that repairs unclear art.

Fix five facts before authoring: a person with a concrete want; one impossible
rule; a deliberate choice that activates it; a visible price that follows from
the wording; and a final image that echoes the opening and proves the term. Magic
behaves like a contract. The final turn must fulfil the stated condition rather
than introduce a second power, hidden prophecy, villain, or unrelated surprise.

Set stories in recognisable contemporary life: apartments, buses, laundromats,
clinics, offices, shops, parks, family tables, workshops, and public queues. The
strange event should enter an ordinary system people already understand. The
protagonist's choice—not invented lore or architecture—must drive the story.

Rotate intimate, public, playful, tender, morally difficult, and uneasy registers.
Make at least two of every five ideas genuinely hopeful, comic, reciprocal, or
reparative. Inconvenience, responsibility, patience, altered routine, public
embarrassment, and shared labour are valid prices. Death, permanent injury,
memory erasure, homelessness, ruined relationships, and saintly self-sacrifice
must be rare rather than the default path to significance.

Vary protagonist age, gender presentation, household structure, occupation,
setting, desire, rule carrier, price type, scale, and ending mechanism. Do not
repeatedly centre a craft worker helping a village. Do not use title formulas such
as “The [worker/object] Who [verb]” across a batch.

Everything is original fiction. Use the exact reader-visible disclosure
“Original fable by Pandi”. Never claim or imply that a story is ancient,
traditional, sacred, translated, rediscovered, or inherited from a real culture.
Avoid pantheons, kings, crowns, temples, sacred symbols, invented rites, generic
medieval fantasy, pseudo-folklore, pseudo-writing, and culturally ambiguous costume.

Five-slide original fables about people who accept one impossible rule—and discover exactly what it costs. Contemporary, humane, strange, and always causally clear.

Impossible Terms

A caretaker can make grief light enough to carry, but only if everyone takes a stone.

Before payday, Rafi filled his basket with groceries and one small birthday cake.
The checkout erased anything called unnecessary, but kept its weight until he honestly chose it.
Rafi rejected the cake, flowers, and coffee until his basket looked almost empty.
At the exit, the nearly empty basket was too heavy to lift.
He chose the cake without apologising, and carried everything home easily.

A borrowed breath can save someone in smoke, but its giver stays voiceless until it comes home.

Mara's red umbrella could keep anyone beside her completely dry.
Its one rule: every stopped drop would return at midnight inside her home.
During the storm, Mara walked strangers home until the whole block was dry.
At midnight, every borrowed drop began falling through her kitchen ceiling.
The neighbours returned with bowls, and by morning the rooftop garden had bloomed.

Each coal saves a seedling from frost, while its giver’s hearth remains cold until the plant flowers.

Imani wanted one empty inbox before the promotion meeting on Friday.
Her desk plant finished one task overnight for every hour of sleep it took.
She left the whole week's work beside its pot and went home early.
The inbox emptied as new leaves filled her cubicle and sleep disappeared.
Friday's promotion waited beneath the branches while Imani slept through her own name.
