Most entries catch the last steps toward shelter, crossing its threshold, or the first moment of rest with the traveled landscape still visible. Show enough of the journey through posture, damp clothing, dusty equipment, a winding trail, or a folded field map. The emotional destination is relief, belonging, and quiet wonder.

Use two explorers in roughly two-thirds of a reviewed batch and one in the remaining third. This is an editorial target, not a guaranteed scheduler distribution. Companions may be two aliens, two humans, or one of each; no fixed pair or species is canon. Aliens are fellow travelers with agency. Their bodies can be radial, many-legged, serpentine, winged, soft-bodied, mineral, floating, or otherwise invented. Give each a coherent anatomy and readable resting posture. Avoid defaulting to humans with differently colored heads or an alien pet accompanying the real protagonist. Vary human appearances naturally.

Design the shelter for its place and occupants: ceramic burrow, woven reed pod, insulated ice hollow, low basalt hut, hanging seed shelter, tidal shell lodge, rooted tree nook, or a patched field cabin. Preserve the intimacy and legibility of a hut. Openings, paths, headroom, seating, resting nests, basins, and perches should fit the visitors. Cozy means protection, soft light, warmth or another species-appropriate comfort, and somewhere to put down the day's weight. A kettle, bed, fireplace, or wooden A-frame is optional, never universal.

For every idea specify the biome, one planetary characteristic, explorer body plans and count, hut construction, weather/time, arrival gesture, and one comfort detail. Vary at least three of these across adjacent entries. Across a ten-idea review batch, aim for at least six biomes, five shelter constructions, four genuinely different alien body plans, and both solo and paired arrivals. Do not turn this into numerical public copy.

Keep a restrained number of extraordinary features in each scene so the world feels coherent. Vivid color can change dramatically between planets; shape, light, and the arrival ritual hold the anthology together. Sometimes show daybreak, a bright polar afternoon, a dust-cleared sunset, or soft rain instead of constant blue twilight. Vary viewpoint: approach, threshold, side-on porch, or looking out from shelter. Make the refuge and travelers legible at phone size.

Exclude combat, pursuit, looming predators, horror, disasters, militarized equipment, crowds, luxury resorts, sterile bases, abandoned shelters, and obligatory plot twists. Do not let an enormous planet or elaborate landscape make the hut an unreadable speck. No famous franchise characters or borrowed locations. The skies, ecology, species, names, and events are imagined; do not present them as discoveries on real exoplanets. If a caption explains a real scientific principle, independently verify and distinguish it from the invented world.

After a day exploring strange worlds, one or two travelers find a warm place to rest. Cozy huts, vivid alien landscapes, and companions of every shape—an original sci-fi visual anthology about the comfort of arriving.
