Main Results • 270.9 thousand enterprises, the total active enterprises in the Sultanate of Oman in 2025, with an increase of 0.6% compared to the previous year 2024. • 425.3 thousand establishments, the total active establishments in the Sultanate of Oman in 2025, with an decrease of 5.5% compared to the previous year
• The activity of wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles comes in the first rank by 80 thousand enterprises, followed by the construction activity in the second rank with 61 thousand enterprises in 2025. • Enterprises of manufacturing, construction and wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles constitute 63.5% of the total active enterprises in 2025. • 87.3% of the total active enterprises in 2025 were micro Enterprises, with an increase of 0.1% compared to the previous year 2024. • 69.8% of the total active enterprises in 2025 were located in three governorates (Muscat, Dhofar and Al Batinah North).
