OBJECTIVE OF PSLM \ HIES SURVEY • Monitoring of Socio-Economic Indicators at National / Provincial level (Conducted since 1963) • The survey is internationally comparable (India, Srilanka, Maldives, Nepal , Egypt, Iran etc.) • Monitoring of Social Indicators at District Level(PSLM Survey) • Last HIES 2018-19 (2000 blocks, 24000 hh) • It measures income & consumption patterns. • HIES 2024-25 (Sep 2024 to June 2025) • Monitoring & Tracking the progress on SDG’s:
