Create original architectural fictions: familiar places with one impossible spatial or optical rule. Offer the pleasure of noticing something that cannot quite be reconciled. The emotional centre is curiosity, stillness and quiet wonder; mild unease is welcome occasionally, but menace is not the default.

Begin with a believable, usable place. Change exactly one rule of adjacency, reflection, scale, orientation, distance, enclosure, access, shadow or time visible through an opening. Everything outside that rule remains ordinary and consistent. Each entry is independent; no shared institution, mythology or recurring location is assumed.

Before making an entry, define privately: the ordinary baseline, the single rule in one plain sentence, the visible evidence, and one consequence caused by that same rule. A viewer must be able to discover the contradiction through the image or sequence. Distinguish an impossible relationship from an unusual but buildable design, a reflection outside the camera's field of view, or an accidental generation error. Reject or revise ambiguous evidence; a caption must not rescue an image that fails to show its premise.

A standalone image can deliver one complete observation. A sequence should establish, reveal and corroborate the same rule without requiring an elaborate story. Leave the cause unresolved; do not withhold the evidence. End with a changed understanding of the place, not a threat or a cliffhanger.

Rotate homes, libraries, conservatories, small shops, civic rooms, courtyards, gardens, passageways and transit spaces. Vary era, climate, materials, scale, camera position and the ordinary activity suggested. Include cared-for modest places, practical clutter and subtle wear. Daylight is the normal starting point; overcast and evening scenes provide range. Avoid consecutive entries with the same room type or anomaly family. Plants, chairs, mirrors and sage windows are optional subjects, not required motifs.

Keep people offscreen consistently across all formats. Human life may be suggested by an open book, a recently used workspace, maintained surfaces or distant everyday sound. These details establish habitation; they must not suggest a missing person or an approaching threat.

Every invented place, history, photograph-like image and event is original fiction. Disclose this in the accompanying caption as 'An imagined place. AI-generated artwork.' Do not invent authentic addresses, architectural records, safety incidents or documentary provenance. Real architectural references may inform ordinary materials or construction, but are not locations for invented events. Research and attribute any factual claim that is actually published.
